- There's no account. Your cat, progress and settings live on your phone.
- With your agreement, the game sends anonymous usage stats. There's no name, no advertising ID and nothing you type, and you can switch them off in Settings › Anonymous usage stats.
- Ads only play when you tap one for a reward. You can turn personalised ads off in Settings.
- We never sell your information.
1. Who we are
PurrMurr (the "Game") is made by Apprillion ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Game handles, why, and the choices you have. By playing, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.
2. What stays on your phone
You don't create an account, and we don't ask for your name, e-mail, phone number or photos. Your cats, boards, coins, items and settings are saved only on your device.
The Game creates two random codes on your phone: a Player ID (shown in Settings) and a Cat ID for each cat. They exist so our support can help you if you write to us. They are never sent to analytics or advertising services. A new Player ID is made if you reinstall or use Reset Game.
The name you give your cat stays on your phone too.
3. Anonymous usage stats
When you tick "I agree…" on the welcome screen and tap Play, the Game starts sending anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics for Firebase. Nothing is sent before that. These numbers show us which parts of the Game are fun, where it gets too hard and how the in-game economy behaves.
What is sent:
- Game events with numbers and game names only, for example "a Fishing Pond round ended with 2 paws", "the delivery box ran out", "a level was reached", "a rewarded video was offered and watched", or a session summary (minutes played and coins earned).
- Rough groups instead of exact values, such as level range, how many days you've played, and whether you prefer mini games or merging.
- Basic technical information that Firebase collects automatically: device model, operating system, app version, language, country (worked out from your IP address; Google Analytics doesn't store the IP address), session times, and a random app-instance ID created by Firebase.
What is never sent: your cat's name, your Player or Cat IDs, your advertising ID, anything you type, your contacts, or your precise location. Analytics is not used for advertising: ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation signals are always set to "denied", Google signals are off, and the data isn't linked to Google Ads.
Switching it off: turn off Settings › Anonymous usage stats at any time. Collection stops right away, and the analytics data stored on your phone is deleted.
4. Game settings from our server
The Game downloads tuning values, such as how many mini game rounds you get a day, from Firebase Remote Config. To deliver them, Firebase uses a random installation ID. Sometimes we try two versions of a setting with different groups of players (Firebase A/B Testing) to see which one is more fun. Those tests use only the anonymous stats above.
5. Rewarded ads
PurrMurr has no pop-up or banner ads. A short video plays only when you tap an offer like "+5 items" or "x2 coins", and you get the reward when it ends.
These videos come from advertising partners through a mediation service (Unity LevelPlay, which works with networks such as Google AdMob, AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Mintegral, Pangle and Unity Ads). When a video is shown, these partners may collect:
- your device's advertising ID (only where your device settings allow it)
- device and network information, including your IP address
- whether the ad was shown, watched or tapped
They use this to deliver ads, measure them and prevent fraud.
Your ad choices:
- Partners may show more relevant (personalised) ads. You can turn this off at any time with Settings › Personalised ads; you'll still get rewards, the ads will just be less tailored.
- Where the law requires consent first, such as in the EEA and the UK, a consent form asks before any personalised ad is shown.
- On iPhone, Apple's "Allow tracking?" prompt decides whether the advertising ID can be used.
Each partner handles data under its own privacy policy.
6. Purchases
In-app purchases are optional and are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details. We receive only what was bought, so the Game can deliver it, and the store's purchase receipt so it can be checked. We use RevenueCat for that check: it receives the receipt and a random customer ID created on your phone, not your name, payment card or advertising ID.
7. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the Game schedules reminders on your phone, for example "your cat is hungry" or "the box is full again". They're created on the device. We don't run a push server that knows who you are. You can turn them off in Settings › Notifications or in your phone's settings.

9. How long data is kept
- On your phone: until you use Reset Game, clear the app's data or uninstall it.
- Anonymous usage stats: kept by Google Analytics for 2 months, then deleted.
- Ad partners and app stores: according to their own policies.
10. Your choices and rights
- Stop the stats: Settings › Anonymous usage stats (this also deletes the stats data on your phone).
- Ads: turn off Settings › Personalised ads; reset or limit your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Android: Settings › Google › Ads; iPhone: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking).
- Delete everything on your phone: Settings › Reset Game, or uninstall the Game.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, delete or correct your data, to object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we don't hold your name or account, the stats can't be traced back to you. Switching them off and resetting the Game removes what's on your phone. You can still write to us (see below) and we'll help however we can. Including your Player ID helps.
The legal basis for the anonymous stats is your agreement on the welcome screen together with our legitimate interest in improving the Game, and you can object at any time with the Settings switch. For personalised ads, it's your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise our legitimate interest in keeping the Game free, which you can object to with the Settings switch.
11. Children
PurrMurr is intended for players aged 13 and older. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child under 13 has used the Game in a way that shared personal information, please contact us and we'll help remove it.
12. Changes
If we change this policy, for example when the Game gets new features, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Important changes will also be shown in the Game.
13. Contact
Questions or requests? Write to us at the developer e-mail address shown on PurrMurr's Google Play or App Store page. If it's about your game, please add your Player ID from Settings.
